It's been so long since I last blogged!
Less than a month to finals !!
So much mixed feelings, nervous (because of the finals) and yet excited because of the upcoming Japan trip with baby :D

But I am pretty confident we will do well this semester's finals, because we have been consistent throughout the weeks, and i'm proud to say we have not missed any lectures (even the morning 830am ones) HEHE

And I am sure looking forward to the Japan trip! I've been planning it for quite some time.
Did A LOT of researches and I'm almost done with the itinerary!
I guess I will only finish up the rest of the itinerary after the last paper :)

Anyway, its been rough on me over the past 3 weeks because my hall jam band has been practising at nights for the inter-hall band competition, Stella.

We sacrificed those nights (930pm to 1am or so) to jam and practise our songs, and some of us even had mid-terms and quizzes and projects to meet. But it was all worth it :D

 6th March 2014. (Almost end of recess week :/ )

A great Thurs-date spent with baby at Playnation scape!!
We got the happy hour package, from 2 to 6pm with free flow of drinks :)

These are the awesome games we played!

Mr Jack. A two player game whereby we took turn to be detective and Mr jack (the murderer)

The detective had 8 rounds to figure out which playable character is actually Mr Jack.

Overall it was fun, but more exciting to be Mr jack than the detective because playing Mr Jack would require certain thinking and strategizing :)

 

 

 

 

Next up, we have this game called "Hey, that's my fish!" The shop staff introduced this game to us haha. Its quite fun and very simple to play ! All we had to do was to move our penguins to different tiles to obtain as many fishes as we can. Baby won all the rounds haha :P I am a bad penguin !

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is Ugly Doll! We happen to see this game when we patronised some shops (can't remember where exactly) so we thought we should try it out haha. End up it's the craziest game when both of us tried to snatch the ugly doll cards HAHA. not too bad of a game :) BUT definitely not worth buying because the cards will all be destroyed sooner or later :P

 

 

 



 

 

 

We also played a game called Gone Fishing but i dont have the photos :(

It's basically a two player fishing board game. Not as fun as the games mentioned above :)

 

 

 

In the evening we went to MBS because my Aunties came to visit !

Had dinner at Din Tai Feng :)

We also watched NTU's inter hall dance competition! hall 4 won 3rd position :) That's Adilah from my hall, also my vocalist in hall jam band.

4play at Nanyang Arts Festival

HELLO. First of all, I want to thank baby and Mr Yi Sheng and hall 4 people for coming over to support my band  :)
We had an awesome night and it was totally fun !

And here's to the lovely people who came :)

p.s Thanks baby for coming to the stage and giving me the flowers :)

Had a great dinner with baby at La Petite Cuisine! Some awesome French cuisine there!
Must try the duck confit! And it was the first time I ate escargots haha (baby recommended it). It tastes pretty good with plain croissant :)
